14-Day Free Trial
Every new user gets a 14-day free trial of Pro features when they create their first workspace. The trial lets your team experience the full power of Planim before committing to a paid plan.
What's Included in the Trial
- All Pro features: unlimited members, tags, calendar connections, integrations
- Full access to Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams integrations
- Custom permissions and workspace settings
Trial Limitations
- AI chat is not available during the trial — the AI assistant activates when you upgrade to Pro
- The trial period cannot be extended (unless by an admin)
What Happens After the Trial
When the 14-day trial ends, your workspace automatically downgrades to the Free plan. All your events, members, and settings are preserved, but features beyond the Free tier become unavailable until you upgrade.
If your workspace has more than 5 members when the trial ends, all members remain but you won't be able to invite new ones until you upgrade or reduce the member count.
Changing Plans
Upgrade or downgrade your workspace plan at any time from Workspace Settings > Plan.
Open plan settings
Navigate to your workspace and go to Settings > Plan. You'll see your current plan, billing cycle, and seat count.
Choose a new plan
Click Change Plan to see available options. Select the plan you want to switch to.
Adjust seat count
If moving to Pro, set the number of seats you need. The minimum is the current number of workspace members.
Confirm the change
Review the pricing summary and confirm. The change takes effect immediately.
Immediate Plan Changes
When you upgrade, new features are available instantly. When you downgrade, your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period, so you don't lose access mid-cycle.
Seat Management
On the Pro plan, you pay per seat. A seat is required for each member in your workspace.
- Adding seats — increase your seat count in plan settings to invite more members. You're billed for additional seats on a prorated basis.
- Removing seats — reduce seats when members leave. The new seat count takes effect at the next billing cycle. You cannot reduce seats below the current member count.
- Seat count — visible in Workspace Settings > Plan, showing used seats vs. total purchased seats.
Workspace owners and admins can manage seats. Regular members can view the current plan but cannot make changes.
Cancellation and Reactivation
If you no longer need a paid plan, you can cancel your subscription from Workspace Settings > Plan.
Cancelling
- Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the plan settings page
- Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period
- After the period ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan
- No data is deleted — events, teams, and settings are all preserved
Reactivating
Changed your mind? You can reactivate at any time before or after the billing period ends.
- If the period hasn't ended yet, cancellation is reversed and billing continues as normal
- If the workspace has already moved to Free, reactivation starts a new billing cycle on Pro

When am I charged?
Billing is monthly or yearly depending on your chosen cycle. You're charged at the start of each billing period for the number of seats you have.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes. Change your billing cycle from plan settings. Switching to yearly applies the 20% discount starting from your next billing period.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Events, teams, tags, and calendar connections remain intact. Features that exceed the Free plan limits (like additional tags or integrations) become read-only until you upgrade again.
Can I try Pro features again after my trial ends?
The 14-day trial is a one-time offer per user. After it ends, upgrade to Pro to access those features. There's no second trial period.
How do I get Enterprise pricing?
Contact us through the website or reach out to support. Enterprise pricing is customized based on your team size and needs.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Enterprise plans can also be invoiced.
Example: How Costs Work When Adding Team Members
Your company starts on Pro with 5 seats at $20/seat/month = $100/month.
Month 1 (day 15): You hire two new designers and add 2 seats. Planim charges you a prorated amount for the remaining 15 days: 2 seats × $20 × 15/30 = $20 extra on your next invoice.
Month 2: Your full bill is now 7 seats × $20 = $140/month.
Month 3: One person leaves the company. You reduce seats from 7 to 6. The change takes effect at the next billing cycle, so you still pay $140 this month. Starting month 4, it's 6 × $20 = $120/month.
Switching to annual: At any point, switch to yearly billing to pay $16/seat/month instead of $20 — saving 20% across the team.
