Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Planim ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Planim ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the platform available at planim.app.

Description of Service

Planim is a calendar and scheduling platform that provides:

  • Workspace calendars for teams and organizations
  • Event management with recurring events, RSVP, and participant tracking
  • Team coordination with shared calendars and availability management
  • AI assistant for natural language scheduling and event management
  • Integrations with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams
  • External calendar sync for viewing busy/free status across platforms
  • MCP Server for connecting AI tools via Personal Access Tokens

Account Registration

Account Creation

To use Planim, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by signing in through a supported OAuth provider (Google, Microsoft, Discord).

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Abuse the AI assistant to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications through integrations

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including account suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Planim and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Planim (events, descriptions, conversations, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Integrations and Third-Party Services

Planim integrates with third-party services including Google, Microsoft, Slack, Discord, and OpenAI. When you connect these services:

  • You authorize us to access the data necessary for the integration to function
  • Third-party services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services
  • You may disconnect integrations at any time through your workspace settings

AI Assistant

The AI assistant uses third-party AI providers to process your requests. By using the AI feature:

  • You understand that AI responses may not always be accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and confirming actions suggested by the AI
  • AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice
  • Daily usage limits may apply based on your plan

Subscriptions and Payments

Plans

Planim offers different subscription plans. Features and limits vary by plan. Free plans may have restrictions on the number of workspaces, members, or AI usage.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after the notice period.

Availability and Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Data will not be lost or corrupted
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • AI responses will be accurate or complete

We strive for high availability but may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Planim from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you create or share through the Service

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement — these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Planim
  • Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • No Waiver — our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent
